Looking at the endless mountains of Mantiqueira, artisans collect cattail straw. 
A  cattail  is an aquatic plant, found in rivers and lakes. With a lot of patience artisans work their magic, working the plant which, after drying, produces a resistant and very durable fiber,
and then braid it.
 
In São Paulo, with intense dedication, it is embroidered for several days to make it look beautiful and unique. True artisanal luxury.
